3-Day Agadir to Tafraoute, Sidi Ifni and Tiznit Tour

Your three-day journey begins with pickup from your hotel, resort, Agadir airport or another agreed meeting point. Leave the coast and travel inland through argan-growing countryside, almond groves and the changing landscapes of the Anti-Atlas Mountains. The route passes several traditional villages before reaching Tizourgane, a historic fortified granary built on a hilltop. Its elevated position offers wide views across the surrounding valleys and villages. Continue along the mountain road toward Tafraoute, a small town set among distinctive pink and ochre granite formations. After arriving, meet a local guide for a relaxed walk through the town. The visit may include the centre, local shops, traditional footwear, silverwork and neighbourhoods that reflect the area’s Amazigh heritage. During warmer months and when the schedule allows, an evening drive can be arranged toward the Painted Rocks for sunset. After breakfast, leave the hotel and continue through the granite landscapes surrounding Tafraoute. Stop near the Painted Rocks, where large boulders form a striking open-air installation against the natural colours of the Anti-Atlas Mountains. The journey then follows quieter mountain roads through villages, cultivated valleys and remote stretches of southern Morocco. When the itinerary coincides with a weekly market, time may be arranged to walk through the stalls and observe local trade, produce and everyday village life. The road can be narrow or uneven in some sections, but the mountain views and changing scenery make this one of the most distinctive parts of the journey. Continue toward the Atlantic coast and arrive in Sidi Ifni during the afternoon. After checking into your accommodation, spend the remainder of the day at your own pace. Walk through the town centre, sit at a café terrace or head toward the seafront for views of the Atlantic Ocean. Begin the final morning beside the Atlantic Ocean before leaving Sidi Ifni for Legzira Beach. Legzira is known for its red coastal cliffs, wide shoreline and natural rock arches. Enjoy free time for a walk along the beach, photography or a quiet break beside the ocean. Swimming may be possible when sea and weather conditions are safe, but access and water conditions can change with the tides. Continue north toward Mirleft, a relaxed coastal town surrounded by beaches, cliffs and small fishing communities. The journey then turns inland toward Tiznit, where a lunch stop can be arranged. After lunch, walk through part of the old town and its market streets. Tiznit is particularly associated with traditional Amazigh silverwork, jewellery and craftsmanship. Leave Tiznit in the afternoon and return to Agadir, arriving in the early evening. Your driver will drop you off at your hotel, resort or preferred location.
