After breakfast, continue along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs through beautiful desert landscapes and traditional villages. Stop at Todra Gorge, where massive limestone cliffs rise dramatically above the riverbed. Enjoy free time to walk through the canyon and take photographs. Continue through Tinjdad and Erfoud before reaching Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. In the late afternoon, begin your camel trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes. Enjoy the changing colors of the sand as the sun sets over the Sahara. Upon arrival at camp, settle into your private tent and enjoy dinner, Amazigh music and stargazing.

Wake up early to witness sunrise over the dunes before breakfast. Today’s excursion focuses on exploring the Merzouga region and discovering authentic desert life. Visit Khamlia village, famous for its traditional Gnawa music, and learn about the cultural traditions of the local community. Continue through desert tracks to visit nomadic families living near the dunes and gain insight into their daily lifestyle. You may also visit fossil sites, seasonal desert lakes and panoramic viewpoints around Erg Chebbi. Return to your hotel in Merzouga for dinner and overnight accommodation.

After breakfast, depart Merzouga and begin the journey toward Fes.
