TOUR ITINERARY
Day 1: Casablanca → Rabat → Meknes → Fes
Arrive in Casablanca and visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque. Continue to Rabat to explore the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas. After lunch, travel to the imperial city of Meknes, where you’ll visit the impressive Bab Mansour Gate and stroll through El Hedim Square before continuing to Fes for your overnight stay.
Day 2: Guided Tour of Fes
After breakfast, meet your local guide for a full-day exploration of Fes, Morocco’s oldest imperial city. Visit the Royal Palace gates, the Jewish Quarter (Mellah), the famous Bab Boujloud (Blue Gate), Al Quaraouiyine University, the Chouara Tanneries, Nejjarine Fountain, and wander through the narrow streets of the UNESCO-listed medina. Enjoy free time to explore the souks before returning to your riad for your second overnight stay in Fes.
Day 3: Fes → Ifrane → Cedar Forest → Midelt → Ziz Valley → Merzouga Desert
Leave Fes after breakfast and travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” then continue to the Cedar Forest of Azrou to see the Barbary macaques. Pass through Midelt before enjoying panoramic views of the Ziz Valley. Arrive in Merzouga in the late afternoon, where you’ll ride camels across the golden Erg Chebbi dunes to your luxury desert camp. Enjoy dinner, traditional Berber music, and an unforgettable night beneath the Sahara stars.
Day 4: Merzouga → Rissani → Erfoud → Todra Gorge → Dades Valley
Wake early to watch the spectacular desert sunrise before breakfast. Leave Merzouga and visit Rissani, famous for its traditional market, before continuing to Erfoud, renowned for its fossil workshops. Travel through Tinghir to the breathtaking Todra Gorge, where you’ll have time to walk between its towering canyon walls. Continue to the beautiful Dades Valley for dinner and your overnight stay.
Day 5: Dades Valley → Valley of Roses → Skoura → Ouarzazate → Ait Ben Haddou → Marrakech
After breakfast, drive through the Valley of Roses and the palm groves of Skoura before reaching Ouarzazate. Continue to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, Morocco’s most famous kasbah and a popular filming location for many international movies. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass before arriving in Marrakech for your overnight stay.
Day 6: Guided Tour of Marrakech
After breakfast, discover the highlights of Marrakech with a local guide. Visit the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and explore the colorful souks of the old medina.
