What You Will See

Middle Atlas Mountains

Your journey begins through the beautiful Middle Atlas Mountains, where lush forests, rolling hills, and traditional Berber villages create a peaceful landscape. This scenic route offers a refreshing contrast to the Sahara, with panoramic viewpoints and charming mountain towns along the way.

Ifrane

Known as the “Little Switzerland of Morocco,” Ifrane is famous for its alpine-style architecture, clean streets, and beautiful parks. Surrounded by cedar forests, this mountain town provides a relaxing stop before continuing toward the desert.

Ziz Valley

One of Morocco’s most impressive oases, the Ziz Valley stretches for miles with thousands of palm trees fed by the Ziz River. The dramatic viewpoints overlooking the lush valley surrounded by rocky mountains offer some of the most spectacular scenery in southeastern Morocco.

Merzouga Sahara Desert

Arriving in Merzouga marks the beginning of your Sahara adventure. Here, the towering golden dunes of Erg Chebbi create one of Morocco’s most iconic landscapes. As the sun sets over the desert, you’ll ride camels across the dunes before reaching your desert camp for an unforgettable night under the stars.

Todra Gorge

Walk through one of Morocco’s most spectacular canyons, where limestone cliffs rise over 300 meters on both sides of a crystal-clear river. The cool air, towering rock walls, and breathtaking scenery make Todra Gorge one of the country’s most remarkable natural attractions.

Dades Valley

Travel through the stunning Dades Valley, where dramatic rock formations, ancient kasbahs, and lush green oases create unforgettable landscapes. The winding mountain roads and famous Monkey Fingers rock formations make this valley a favorite stop for photographers and nature lovers.

Ait Ben Haddou

Step back in time as you explore Ait Ben Haddou, Morocco’s most famous fortified village and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built from traditional earthen clay, this ancient ksar has served as the backdrop for countless films while preserving centuries of Moroccan history and architecture.

High Atlas Mountains

Before reaching Marrakech, cross the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains via the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass. The winding mountain roads reveal spectacular panoramic views, traditional Berber villages, and dramatic peaks, providing a memorable finale to your desert adventure
