TOUR ITINERARY
Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your accommodation in Marrakech. Travel through the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains, crossing the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass while enjoying panoramic views of Berber villages and mountain landscapes.
Visit the legendary Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, Morocco’s most famous fortified village and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After lunch, continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco,” before driving through the Valley of Roses and the Road of 1,000 Kasbahs to reach the beautiful Dades Valley.
Overnight in a traditional hotel with dinner and breakfast included.
Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga Sahara Desert
After breakfast, continue toward Todra Gorge, where towering limestone cliffs rise over 300 meters high. Enjoy time to walk through the canyon and admire one of Morocco’s most spectacular natural wonders.
Continue through palm groves and traditional villages before arriving in Merzouga. Here, you’ll swap your vehicle for camels and begin an unforgettable trek across the golden Erg Chebbi dunes.
Watch the sunset from the dunes before arriving at your luxury or standard desert camp. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner followed by Berber music around the campfire beneath an incredible star-filled sky.
Day 3: Explore Merzouga Desert
Wake early to witness one of the most beautiful sunrises in Morocco before enjoying breakfast at the camp.
Today’s adventure is dedicated to discovering the Sahara beyond the dunes. Visit a local nomadic family to learn about their traditional desert lifestyle, explore the black volcanic desert landscapes, and enjoy authentic Gnawa music in Khamlia Village.
You’ll also visit Dayet Srij Lake (seasonal), where flamingos and other migratory birds can often be seen during certain times of the year.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel in Merzouga for a relaxing evening.

Day 4: Merzouga – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
After breakfast, begin your journey back to Marrakech.
Travel through Rissani, Alnif, the beautiful Draa Valley, and Ouarzazate before crossing the High Atlas Mountains once again.
Arrive in Marrakech in the evening, where your driver will drop you off at your accommodation, marking the end of your unforgettable Moroccan desert adventure.
