Your adventure begins in Fes before heading south through the charming mountain town of Ifrane, often called the Switzerland of Morocco. Continue through the cedar forests of Azrou, home to the famous Barbary macaques, before driving across the Middle Atlas Mountains.
Enjoy panoramic viewpoints overlooking the palm-filled Ziz Valley as you travel toward the Sahara. In Merzouga, experience a magical camel trek across the towering dunes of Erg Chebbi and spend two unforgettable nights surrounded by the silence of the desert.
On your second day in the Sahara, discover the authentic desert lifestyle by visiting nomadic families, listening to traditional Gnawa music in Khamlia Village, exploring ancient fossil workshops, and relaxing while taking in the stunning scenery.
Leaving the desert behind, travel through the dramatic Todra Gorge and the fragrant Valley of Roses before reaching Ouarzazate. Explore the legendary Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou before crossing the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass on your way to vibrant Marrakech
TOUR ITINERARY
Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert
Your driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Fes. Travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane and the cedar forests of Azrou where Barbary macaques live freely.
Continue through Midelt before descending into the magnificent Ziz Valley with its thousands of palm trees. Arrive in Merzouga during the afternoon where your camel caravan awaits.
Ride across the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes while watching the sunset before arriving at your desert camp. Enjoy dinner, Berber music around the campfire, and your first magical night beneath the stars.

Day 2: Explore the Sahara Desert (Desert Excursion)
Wake early to witness a beautiful sunrise over the dunes before enjoying breakfast.
Today’s adventure takes you around the Sahara region. Visit a local nomad family to learn about their traditional lifestyle. Continue to Khamlia Village where you’ll enjoy authentic Gnawa music performed by local musicians.
Later, visit the fossil workshops in Erfoud and, if desired, explore the lively local market (depending on the day of the week).
Return to Merzouga for lunch before enjoying a relaxing afternoon in the desert. Spend another peaceful evening with dinner and overnight at your desert accommodation.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley – Ouarzazate
After breakfast, leave the Sahara behind and travel toward Rissani before continuing to the spectacular Todra Gorge, where towering canyon walls rise over 300 meters high.
Enjoy free time to walk through the gorge before continuing along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs and through the Valley of Roses.
Arrive in Ouarzazate in the evening where you’ll spend the night.

Day 4: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

Continue across the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the winding Tizi n’Tichka Pass, stopping at panoramic viewpoints and traditional Berber villages along the way.
